south-africa

South Africa is one of the most geographically varied countries of the world, from fertile high plains called the highveld and the wide open savanna of the Eastern Transvaal to the Kalahari desert and the peaks of the Drakensberg Mountains.  South Africa is also well known for its wildlife diversity found in the bush including Transvaal lions, African leopards, South African cheetahs, southern white rhinos, blue wildebeest, kudus, impalas, hyenas, nile crocodiles, hippo's and giraffes. Most of South Africa's savannah willderness exists in the north-east including Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, as well as in the far north in the Waterberg Biosphere. For the past four decades, South Africa has been facing some Conservation issues. They've lost a large area of natural habitat,  primarily due to overpopulation, sprawling development patterns and deforestation during the 19th century. Venture now to South Africa and help with Wildlife Research, conservation, Care & Rehabilitation of whales, dolphins, sharks and elephants and help with these great causes and hopefully sustain and conserve South Africa's vast biodiversity! After travel around and enjoy all South Africa has to offer!
