Iceland Conservation

Iceland, Iceland

The Experience

Help protect the nature and raise awareness of sustainability among the locals and visitors in beautiful Iceland. Together with other international volunteers, you can share your knowledge on the current theme “global warming” while enjoying the beauty of the nature in Iceland!

Located near the crossroads to the West, South and North of Iceland, the project offers an opportunity for you to share your knowledge with other volunteers while exploring creativity, environmental issues and intercultural learning. The main goal of the project is to “improve education and raise awareness” about environment problems. You will be involved in various activities and tasks which includes beach cleanup, planting trees, workshops on climate change, research, renovation and lots more. There are also opportunities to go on excursions to visit the popular areas and natural wonders that Iceland has.

For a minimum of four weeks during February to November, you are sure to have a great time whether you are planting trees, cleaning the beach or even doing artwork. The memories you will create while working towards a great cause will surely be worth it. Be the change you wish to see!
